The Swiss luxury watchmaker launched its first Bahrain special Limited Edition Carrera Calibre 16. It is inspired by the colors of the Bahraini flag. The limited edition pays tribute to national identity and highlights both the Arabic culture and the colors of Bahrain’s flag. Moreover, it celebrates the long-standing partnership with Bahrain Jewellery Center, TAG Heuer’s exclusive retail partner in Bahrain. The special Limited Edition Carrera will be available only in Bahrain as of May 2021.
Expressed through an intense red lacquered dial, featuring Indian numbers, indexes and hands in white color and adorned with a special engraving on the case back mentioning “Bahrain Edition One of 100”, the special Limited Edition Carrera will be available only in Bahrain.
The elegant yet sporty 41 mm Carrera automatic chronograph with a stainless-steel polished case stands out with its completely red lacquered dial. A dash of white color enhances the overall appearance of the timepiece with white accentuated Indian numbers, indexes, hands and chronograph counters. The chronograph functionality is maintained with two push buttons and red “azurage” subdials at 6 and 12 o’clock and a permanent second indicator at 6 o’clock. The rhodium plated polished, facetted hour and minute hands with white SuperLuminova ensure optimal visibility in any condition. The special edition chronograph sports a date window at 3 o’clock on the dial and offers a power reserve of 42 hours. Adorned with a special engraving on the steel screw down sapphire case back, the timepiece a water resistance of 100 meters.
The chronograph has a refined and modern look inspired by the pure style that first made the TAG Heuer Carrera iconic. Combined with Bahraini colors, the watch is a striking statement on and off the racetrack.
